食品药品学院产学研创新中心立足深圳市"20+8"产业集群，聚焦药物先导化合物发现、新药创制、体外诊断试剂开发、特殊食品研发和食品安全检测技术研发等生物医药与精准营养前沿领域开展创新研究和技术服务，为深圳生物医药及大健康产业集群高质量发展提供智力和技术支持。
创新中心建筑面积2000余平方米，设有生物医药与特殊食品研究室、高分辨质谱室、药物合成室、药理学实验室、细胞培养室、微生物培养室、基因分析仪器室、蛋白质分析仪器室和分离纯化室等分室，配备各类先进仪器设备2000余台（套），总价值逾1.3亿元，具体仪器设备信息可点击链接（https://cjylm.szpu.edu.cn/#/equipments?key=4）查看。
创新中心拥有广东省海洋药物产教融合创新平台、生物医药粤港澳大湾区生产性实训中心（教育部与广东省共建）、广东省细胞与基因治疗技术产教融合创新平台、深圳市发酵精制检测系统重点实验室、深圳市海洋活性物质工程研究中心、深圳市特医食品工程研究中心、深圳市生化分析检测技术公共服务平台、深圳市大规模细胞培养技术和细胞资源库公共技术服务平台、深圳市海洋生物育种创新平台、国家荔枝龙眼现代农业产业技术体系深圳综合试验站等10个省市级科研创新和公共技术服务平台，以及深圳市食品高质量发展研究院（与深圳市市场监督管理局共建）和海普瑞生物医药研究院（与深圳市海普瑞药业集团股份有限公司共建）。同时，中心建有广东省普通高校海洋药源小分子研究和开发、食品安全与质量控制两个省级创新团队，并拥有5个校级科研平台与2个校级创新团队。
The Research & Development Center of the School of Food and Drug is based on the "20+8" industrial clusters in Shenzhen, conducting innovative research and providing technical services. It focuses on cutting-edge fields such as the discovery of drug lead compounds, drug discovery and development, in-vitro diagnostic reagent R&D, special food R&D, and food safety inspection R&D. The Research & Development Center contributes to the high-quality development of Shenzhen's biopharmaceutical and health industry clusters by providing intellectual and technical support.
The Research & Development Center covers an area of over 2,000 square meters and is equipped with a series of research laboratories, including Biomedicine and Special Foods Laboratory, High Resolution Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, Drug Synthesis Laboratory, Pharmacology Laboratory, Cell Culture Laboratory, Microbiology Laboratory, Genetic Analysis Instrument Laboratory, Protein Analysis Instrument Laboratory, Separation and Purification Laboratory, etc. The center is equipped with more than 2,000 sets of advanced instruments, with a total value of over 130 million yuan. The Research & Development Center hosts ten provincial and municipal-level scientific research innovation and public technical service platforms, including the Guangdong Provincial Marine Drug Industry-Education Integration Innovation Platform, the Biopharmaceutical Production Training Center in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Guangdong Provincial Industry-Education Integration Innovation Platform for Cell and Gene Therapy, Shenzhen Key Laboratory of Fermentation Refining and Testing, Shenzhen Marine Active Substance Engineering Research Center, Shenzhen Engineering Research Center for Special Medical Foods, Shenzhen Biochemical Analysis and Testing Technology Public Service Platform, Shenzhen Large-Scale Cell Culture Technology and Cell Resource Bank Public Technology Service Platform, Shenzhen Marine Biological Breeding Innovation Platform, and the Shenzhen Comprehensive Experimental Station of the National Litchi and Longan Modern Agricultural Industry Technology System. Furthermore, it collaborates with the Market Supervision Administration of Shenzhen Municipality to establish the Shenzhen Food High-Quality Development Research Institute, partners with Shenzhen Hepalink Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. to establish the Hepalink Biopharmaceutical Research Institute and the Marine Biopharmaceutical Research Institute. Meanwhile, The center also boasts two provincial innovation teams: Guangdong Provincial Colleges and Universities Marine Pharmaceutical Small Molecule Research and Development Innovation Team, and the Food Safety and Quality Control Innovation Team. It also has 5 university-level research platforms and 2 university-level innovation teams.
